Reduce confusion with better curriculum
a canned curriculum for gym instructors
There’s a lot for practitioners to learn in order to progress quickly and safely up the ranks in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Students must perceive progress in order to stay motivated and have consistent re-exposure to the foundations in order master the art. Skill acquisition not only requires repetition of technique and committed time on the mat but also a cohesive and consistent presentation of curriculum. BJJ mastery develops from a solid understanding of the physics behind WHY technique work the way they do.

a clear roadmap to mastery
Outside of major cities, BJJ practitioners often lack consistent access to black belt instructors. This leaves some teams devoid of the knowledge base to trouble shoot errors in technique. Even amongst knowledgeable black belts curriculum cohesiveness may be an after thought. That’s where our HomeGrown Curriculum can bridge the gap. Our packaged curriculum takes the guess work and confusion out of curriculum creation. If you have an internet connection you can access consistent high level instruction any where, any time!

better instruction with less effort
The HomeGrown Jiu Jitsu Curriculum is broken down into monthly Topics and weekly subtopics. These tutorials will range from beginner foundations and scale up to advanced and specialty techniques for both Gi and No Gi Jiu Jitsu. You’ll get access to video tutorials and routine virtual Q&A sessions to ensure that you know the how AND why behind everything you’re teaching. Stop making it up on the fly! Your students will appreciate the opportunity to practice techniques to mastery. They’ll be able to transition more efficiently between techniques and the understanding of when to choose one over another.

how it worKs
For a low monthly fee you’ll receive access to the Techniques of the Month and weekly virtual Q&A sessions. Designed to scale up in skill, you’ll introduce the foundation technique at the beginning of the week and add on intermediate and advanced skills as your class is ready. Adjust your instruction with the included variations as appropriate to the skill level of your participants.
Each quarter features a review week that encapsulates the techniques taught during that period as a refresher. The curriculum revisits the same Topic of Techniques every 6 months to ensure that your students have the routine and consistent exposure to techniques to achieve mastery. Course curriculum is updated monthly in order to keep up with the every changing world of competition jiu jitsu so you never have to worry about your curriculum going stale or becoming outdated.
